Jakarta – Ajang penghargaan Indonesia Golden Ring Awards (IGRA) 2015 kembali digelar di Jakarta, hari ini (16/11). Dalam acara yang telah memasuki tahun ke-7 penyelenggaraannya itu, Ketua Pelaksana IGRA 2015, Danang Arradian menjelaskan bahwa penghargaan ini merupakan bentuk apresiasi bagi para pelaku industri telekomunikasi terhadap pencapaian yang telah diraihnya selama setahun terakhir.
Harapannya, penghargaan ini akan dapat memacu para operator, vendor, startup serta pelaku indutri lainnya untuk terus memberikan layanan dan produk yang lebih baik.
Penghargaan IGRA 2015 ini diberikan berdasarkan hasil polling dari 75 jurnalis di bidang teknologi. Menurut Danang, semangat dari penghargaan ini adalah penilaian obyektif dari para jurnalis berdasarkan pengamatan, pengalaman, serta keahlian mereka di bidang industri telekomunikasi.
Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika, Rudiantara sendiri menilai penghargaan IGRA 2015 ini sebagai bentuk apresiasi positif dan perlu didukung oleh seluruh industri.
